The Generalitat awards SERVITRIA the contract to update the Prop of Castellon

The Regional Ministry has invested more than 480,000 euros in the improvement of the citizens’ office.
The work will be carried out without interrupting the operation of the complex.

Castellón, 20 June 2024. The Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition of the Generalitat Valenciana has awarded SERVITRIA the contract to upgrade the Prop administrative building located at Avenida de los Hermanos Bou, 47 in Castellón de la Plana.

The complex, which is part of the network of offices providing face-to-face assistance to citizens throughout the region, provides general information, digital certification and registration services, among others.

The building has more than 5,000 m2 divided into six floors and has housed the on-site citizen service office since 2019, when they moved there from Avenida de Mar.

The project, which involves an investment of more than 483,000 euros for the Generalitat, includes updating and improving the air conditioning, ventilation and lighting systems of the complex, which was built in 1998. The contract also includes the installation of photovoltaic solar panels on the roof to generate renewable energy for the centre’s self-sufficiency.

The work began a few days ago and is expected to be completed within three months. During this time, SERVITRIA teams will work on the different floors of the building without hindering its operation, thus ensuring that the company, which specialises in providing comprehensive services, guarantees the execution of its interventions, minimising their impact.

The project is part of the Programme to Promote the Rehabilitation of Public Buildings of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda in conjunction with the regional government, which aims at the sustainable rehabilitation of the institutional public park.
